I remember seeing Sarah's work and actually being speechless (quite a hard thing for me!). There was an exhibition of art work at our school and Sarah's manga drawings, a Japaneses cartoon style of drawing, were on show. If I wasn't standing in my school hall viewing GCSE art work, I would have believed a professional had drawn them!

I was redecorating my room and had part of the wall completely bare above my bed. It needed a picture there. That was when I thought of Sarah's art display. When I asked her if she would be interested in drawing me a big wall art picture, I wasn't sure if she would say yes. We where in our second year of A levels when there are deadlines every week. However, she said yes and that she would do a variety of drawings to show me, so I could pick my favorite one. A few weeks later she showed me the collection of drawings, which where all fantastic. I decided to go with the drawing of the dragon riders as it had a lot of life and energy.

From then on she worked on the picture bringing in sections of it asking if I would like her to change any part of it. She was drawing the picture on her computer. This meant she could adjust different layers of the picture without interfering with other bits of it.

Sarah publishes some of her work on Deviant Art. All of it is pretty amazing so take a look. http://marshmallow21.deviantart.com/
